Alamo Brokers of Texas has provided M&A advice and brokerage services to entrepreneurs and property investors since 2002. Originally headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, a second office was established in Waco, Texas. Alamo Brokers of Texas has closed several hundred transactions to date in Texas and throughout the US.

Our experience is well documented in the areas of manufacturing, distribution, health care, logistics, service and construction, and growing. STEFAN LAGMARK

MANAGING BROKER

Stefan brings over 15 years of hands-on experience in business and property brokerage, as well as a proven track record of turnaround strategies for under-performing assets. Prior to forming Alamo Brokers of Texas, Stefan held several executive management positions with multinational corporations in US and internationally. 

As one of the top business brokers in Texas, Stefan is an active member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and a past board member of the San Antonio chapter of Texas Association of Business Brokers (TABB). Stefan is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA) and performs limited independent business valuations. 

Stefan is also a Real Estate Broker in the state of Texas, tracing his roots back to 2001. He previously served on the Leadership Council of Keller Williams Legacy, the second largest real estate firm in San Antonio, and earned their Top Producer Award for highest individual Sales Volume and Income. Stefan holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), Sweden. He speaks several languages and enjoys working in a multicultural business environment.

SEAN MCMAHON

BUSINESS BROKER

Sean has the unique experience of having previously “walked in your shoes” using the services of a business broker in both franchise and non-franchised businesses. He personally knows the value a reputable broker can bring to the table and is all too familiar with the hardship of poor representation. Honesty is the core principle providing individualized sincere service in meeting your business goals. No two transactions are the same. Several complex details surround the purchase and sale of any business. Whether it is an SBA loan originated purchase or all cash, your transaction is completely confidential.

Consulting services are another option for business owners. Sean will work one on one with you, regardless of your intent to sell. Goals to lead with include, laying out a long-term exit strategy, training the next generation to run the family business or working solely on increasing profit. Sean has consulted with small businesses and prepared customized blueprints to aid in the facilitation of integrating change and process improvement resulting in increased valuation of business and improved customer satisfaction. 

Sean has a wide bank of experience in Management & Training with both Fortune 500 & small town businesses where customers are known by name. He has bought, grown and sold franchised and non-franchised business. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Business Management, and lives in Waco, TX.

JOE WHITE

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS BROKER

Joe has 28 years of successful experience as a business development manager for a Fortune 500 company in Mexico and the U.S. He is fluent in Spanish and specializes in marketing business opportunities to Mexican nationals in- and outside of Mexico. Joe is a valued strategic partner and an international extension of Alamo Brokers of Texas' marketing efforts in US.

EDUARDO PINA

CPA, BROKER

Eduardo brings over 35 years of experience beginning as a CPA with KPMG, one of the “Big Four”, and thereafter provided accounting services and tax consulting to business clients from his own private practice. Eduardo is also a licensed real estate broker in Texas, which makes him uniquely qualified to advise our clients in the areas of start-ups, purchasing or selling business property, tax strategies utilizing section 1031 exchanges, and ultimately estate planning. Eduardo was born and raised in Laredo, Texas, and now resides in San Antonio, Texas. He received his Bachelors in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting from Baylor University and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Eduardo’s services are offered as an add-on to our regular engagements for clients who specifically request these services.

JOANN BRADY

OFFICE MANAGER

JoAnn is responsible for managing the assets and the accounting processes for us and several of our clients. Prior to joining Alamo Brokers of Texas, JoAnn enjoyed a rewarding career with accounting responsibilities in the banking industry, including over ten years as an accountant at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). JoAnn has a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas At San Antonio (UTSA) and resides in San Antonio, Texas.
